Malcolm Associates Granted Veteran Status

Receives Veteran Owned Small Business Certification Malcolm Associates, Inc., a local architectural and design firm, has recently been certified as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Based upon an extensive review the firm’s organization, management, ownership, professional certifications, operations and financial documents the VOSB program identifies and validates veteran-owned businesses. The VOSB status is necessary and vital for federal, state and local government procurement processes, and for companies who want to “buy veteran” in support of their respective diversity programs. Malcolm Associates, Inc. is a family owned and operated, full service architectural and design firm has served the area since 1981. Having served in the USAF during the early 1970's, Jim Malcolm graduated with honors from Concord High School and Ball State University. A licensed architect in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio, Malcolm is the owner and President of the company. Daughter Kellie Malcolm jointed the firm in 2007. In addition to being a licensed architect in Wisconsin, Georgia and Indiana, Kellie is also a LEED professional and a registered interior designer. Malcolm Associates, Inc. was incorporated in 1989. Originally from Goshen, the firm moved to the Warsaw area in 2007. MAI’s local clients and projects include Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Kosciusko REMC, Biomet and Symmetry Medical.
